I am delighted that Frances Wilson and Michael Johnson have included my interview entitled “Unlocking music in the unconcious mind” in this wonderful book. In addition to interviews with Ivo Pogorelich, Rudolph Buchbinder, Marc-André Hamelin, Stephen Hough, Vikingur Olafsson and many others, Michael has drawn portraits of all the artists – profound but also humorous “sketches”, as he calls them.
